As a Senior ServiceNow CMDB Consultant with our team, you will have opportunity to interface with customers in support of implementations, which includes leading workshops, delivering requirements, demos, and future roadmaps. Candidate does not need to code, develop, or administer systems, but they need to understand the concepts ITOM products, integrations, as well as data center and cloud infrastructure environments.

Job Description

Responsible for delivering implementations focused on IT Operations and Asset Management leveraging IT Datacenter technologies, SAM, DevOps and cloud initiatives with ServiceNow applications that focus on CMDB/CSDM, service mapping, discovery, event management, and cloud management.

Contribute to and maintain a showcase of ITOM and ITAM solution configurations, stories, and test use cases created on the ServiceNow platform.

Elicit, document, and maintain requirements that enable Solution developers to deliver the value of IT Operations Management on the ServiceNow platform.

Strong alignment with architect and engineering teams on delivery standards.

Provide ITOM and Asset mentoring and training to customers, peers and other through opportunities to promote digital transformation.

Demonstrate the ITOM products, to prospects and existing customers, both onsite and remote.

Lead workshop sessions collaborating with clients and developers to ensure requirements are met and ensure integrations support CMDB/CSDM and asset integrity.

EXPERTISE

Ability to lead an Asset and Configuration Management Workshop.

Ability to write requirement stories and proper acceptance criteria.

Ability to lead client teams through story refinement workshops.

Ability to train and transfer knowledge on the asset lifecycle process in a client workshop.

Experience and ability to lead a ServiceNow Asset Management Implementation with the following:

Asset and Configuration Item Synchronization

Implementing Model Management

Understanding of asset contracts and warranty use cases

Ability to decipher and understand advanced shipping notice (ASN)process and integration with asset suppliers

Knowledge of Asset Full life cycle tracking of hardware and software assets

Knowledge of Automated request management and fulfillment

Software license management compliance and remediation

Configured Asset, Inventory, Procurement, Service Catalog, CMDB, Field Normalization, and Software License Management Modules

Understanding of ServiceNow Asset Business Rules and Workflows

Experience in Legacy data migration, conversions, and off boarding from a different enterprise platform

Deep understanding of ServiceNow Asset and Configuration data normalization and rationalization
