Job Order: Welder – Urgent Need

We have an urgent need for Welder candidates.

Position: Welder

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 10 hours per day (5:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.) Overtime: Based on production schedule; Saturdays scheduled in advance Pay Rate: $25.00 per hour Required: Must have a welder's hood and full PPE

Job Duties

• Perform welding and associated activities including grinding, painting, cutting, and other tasks in a steel fabrication shop.
• Conduct visual quality checks and self‑inspect work as instructed.
• Follow all environmental, health, and safety requirements.
• Safely operate shop equipment such as grinders, shears, cranes, and related tools.
• Participate in training for quality procedures, equipment use, and safety compliance.

Requirements

• Must be a certified welder , unless otherwise specified.
• Experience with vertical welding is a plus.
• Candidates will be tested during the interview , including a vertical‑up weld on test coupons, which will be sent to a testing facility.
• All welders must be AWS D1.1 qualified .
• Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs alone and up to 100 lbs with a partner .
• Must be able to work in a non‑climate‑controlled environment .
• Must be able to work in various postures, including flat, vertical, and overhead welding, as well as bending, reaching, and twisting.
• Must be able to wear a respirator when required.
• Must understand and speak English .
• Must have a good work ethic .
• Must have a clean background for the past 5 years .
• Must have a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent .
• Must have a stable work history (example: at least one job held for 3 years).
