Wet Utilities Backfill Operator
- Have at least 1 year of experience operating a 200-class excavator in utilities or heavy civil construction.
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check .
- Health, Dental, and Vision are effective after 91 days of employment.

- Operate 200-class excavator to backfill utility trenches following pipe installation.
- Compact each lift of backfill materials using a roller wheel attachment.
- Coordinate with the water truck operator to apply appropriate moisture content for optimal compaction.
- Follow grade specifications and maintain trench integrity during the backfill process.
- Communicate effectively with ground crews and foremen to ensure safe and efficient operations.
- Maintain equipment and perform daily inspections to ensure proper function and safety.
