Compensation is base salary. We also offer paid vacation time, sick/personal days and fully paid benefits after 3 months’ probation (Life, Accidental Death & Disability, Short and Long-Term Disability, Extended Health, Dental, Employee Assistance Program and RRSP Program with company matching your contributions, up to 3% of your salary).
Job Summary
As a Senior Product Manager for School Bus at Safe Fleet , you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our School Bus focused product offering covering hardware and software for our end-to-end video solutions. You will be responsible for managing the entire offering for School Bus Market working with the overall Product Management Team and your peers managing different parts of our Solution offering. Your primary focus will be on deeply understanding the customer needs and executing a School Bus focused product strategy that aligns with our overall business objectives and growth targets.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with customers and other customer facing teams to identify customer needs, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, sales, and marketing, to define product requirements and roadmaps.
- Maintain a clear product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the School Bus market.
- Define and document product requirements, epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Prioritize features and enhancements based on customer feedback, business goals, engineering capacity and market opportunities.
- Work closely with engineering teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of software and hardware products.
- Drive product launches, including go-to-market strategies, pricing, positioning, and sales enablement.
- Monitor product performance, analyze key metrics, and gather customer feedback to identify areas for improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive offerings.

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
- Hands-on experience (8+years) as a Product Manager or in a similar role, preferably with both HW and SW experience.
- Proven results in working directly with customers and delivering strong business results.
- Experience in mobile products and solutions, preferable in Passenger transportation markets.
- Experience in working with technology vendors and partners to create uniform solutions and integrations
- Deep understanding of product development processes and methodologies.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
- Ability to translate emerging customer needs into product requirements.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Strong organizational and project management abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment across multiple teams and locations.
