Responsibilities
Facility & Infrastructure Maintenance
Perform routine checks and preventive maintenance on non-critical systems like HVAC, plumbing, and lighting
Assist senior technicians with repairs and installations on critical infrastructure
Monitor Building Management Systems (BMS) and respond to alerts using standard operating procedures
Operate fire suppression and safety systems under supervision
Vendor Coordination
Work alongside trusted vendors to ensure maintenance tasks meet Equinix’s high standards
Support the work order process from start to finish, including briefings and final reviews
Site Administration & Incident Response
Log maintenance activities and support documentation for permits and protocols (MOPs)
Assist with incident response and troubleshooting under guidance from senior staff
Project Support & Collaboration
Help install new circuits and support auxiliary equipment
Collaborate with teammates on infrastructure upgrades and inventory tracking
Learn from experienced professionals and contribute to a culture of safety and excellence
What You Bring
High school diploma or equivalent
1–2 years of hands-on experience in HVAC, electrical, mechanical, or building systems (including trade school training)
Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced technical environment
Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a team-first mindset

The targeted pay range for this position in the following location is / locations are:
United States - DA1 Dallas : 45,000 - 69,000 USD / Annual
Our pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and location. The pay range shown is based on our compensation structure in place at the time of posting and may be updated periodically based on business needs. Individual pay is based on additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training.
The targeted pay range listed reflects the base pay only and does not include bonus, equity, or benefits. Employees are eligible for bonus, and equity may be offered depending on the position.
