** Significant sales and relationship development experience and knowledge of the Houston/Harris County market a MUST
**MUST be Houston based and connected
** Ability to successfully manage and lead a mid-size industrial electrical construction company
**Knowledge of Manufacturing Facilities, Water, and Wastewater Plants

Duties:

• Lead an established electrical contractor including both field and office operations
• Market and develop new customer sales
• Interview, hire, counsel, mentor, fire, and promote personnel
• Prepare or review estimates from plans or design build
• Review contracts and prepare proposals
• Own responsibility for profit and loss
• Ensure job site inspections cover quality, safety, and efficiency

Qualifications:

• College degree helpful, not required; 5+ years Electrical Contracting management; ideal person will have risen through the ranks of the electrical trade attending certified electrical programs
• 10 years of bidding and managing Design Build Projects ($50K to $4MM); secure City and County Permits
• Knowledge of Motor Controls, PLCs, general instrumentation
• MUST be able to market and develop new customer sales (Houston and surrounding areas)
• Strong management skills, motivated, enthusiastic, passionate, and excellent leadership/mentorship skills
• Ensure compliance and have knowledge of NEC, estimating, and manpower scheduling
• Ability to design including Load Calculations, Service Design, Voltage Drop, Conduit and wire calculations.
