Job Title: Senior Billing and Collections SpecialistJob Description

The Senior Billing and Collections Specialist will oversee the entire revenue cycle, ensuring accurate invoicing, timely payments, and effective delinquent account recovery. This role will optimize billing processes, analyze aging reports, and ensure regulatory compliance to maximize cash flow.

Responsibilities

• Ensure preparation and issuance of invoices to customers in an accurate and timely manner.

• Manage billing systems and automation tools.

• Resolve billing discrepancies and disputes with customers.

• Monitor aging reports and prioritize high-risk accounts.

• Enforce collection strategies and escalation procedures.

• Review unapplied cash, credits, and write-offs.

• Ensure proper posting of payments and maintain internal controls over billing and cash applications.

• Support audits and financial close.

Work Environment

This position requires on-site work every day in Plainview. The company is expanding through acquisitions and new contracts, including a significant project with JFK Terminal 6, which presents new opportunities. There is potential for career growth into a supervisory or managerial role. The company offers a competitive compensation package with a target bonus.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Plainview, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $44.00/hr.
