Principal Software Engineer - Node.js, React, and PostgreSQL
On-site in Plano, TX - NO REMOTE. NO HYBRID
Salary Range: $175,000 - $190,000
Bonus Potential: 15%
Lead the technical direction and innovation of software development, delivering high-quality, scalable applications. Drive microservices architecture using Node.js, React, and PostgreSQL, mentor engineers, and align solutions with business goals.

Key Responsibilities:
- Define scalable, maintainable architectural vision using Node.js, React, and PostgreSQL.
- Design and implement high-quality, full-stack features, ensuring adherence to coding standards.
- Enforce best practices for code quality, unit/end-to-end testing, and documentation.
- Mentor engineering teams, fostering technical growth and continuous learning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, product, QA) to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
- Lead complex technical projects, architectural discussions, and design reviews.
- Drive process improvements and evaluate emerging technologies for applicability.

Requirements:
- Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 5+ years in software development with expertise in microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and GraphQL.
- Proficiency in Node.js, React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML/CSS, and PostgreSQL; familiarity with MongoDB/Redis.
- Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), DevOps, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Deep knowledge of software design principles, database design, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills to resolve technical issues and convey complex concepts.
- Experience collaborating with UI/UX designers for cross-browser compatible implementations.
