Sales Development Representative - SaaS, Civil Infrastructure
Veyor is a unique and rapidly growing cloud-based mobile platform for managing complex construction activity in the field. Veyor connects the full construction workforce with the supply chain in real-time enabling the efficient management of highly dynamic environments. The platform incorporates scheduling, live tracking, safety processes, and valuable data collection and analysis for optimisation of projects and future planning.
Post the rollout of the first version of Veyor's scheduling board on Sydney's tallest residential skyscraper construction project in 2018, the platform has been adopted by all leading top tier builders in Australia and New Zealand and is now growing into the US market.
We are now hiring talent to join our well-funded, fast-growing tech business with a strong, experienced team.
The Role
Backed by global investors and trusted by top-tier brands globally, we are transforming how large-scale construction, logistics, and facilities management projects are managed, and Austin is their US launchpad.
As a Sales Development Representative , you will be a key hire who will directly shape our US growth story. You will work closely with our CEO and VP of Sales to open doors, build high-value relationships, and help win landmark projects across the country.
Key responsibilities
- Research and identify high-potential civil infrastructure & large construction projects across the US.
- Build relationships with senior decision-makers at construction and infrastructure firms.
- Book high-quality meetings for the CEO and VP of Sales with potential clients.
- Support go-to-market execution and help grow the early US sales pipeline.
- Collaborate with the VP of Sales to refine outreach strategies, qualify opportunities, and close early-stage deals.
- Maintain and track prospecting activity in CRM and sales enablement tools.
- Provide market insights to help shape product positioning and competitive strategy.
Ideal Profile
- You have at least 2 years of experience in business development, lead generation, or sales development, with prior exposure to construction, civil infrastructure, or related industries.
- You possess strong research skills for uncovering projects, opportunities, and decision-makers.
- Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and modern sales tools is required.
- You can confidently engage with senior professionals and influence stakeholders.
- We are looking for a self-driven, curious professional with the ability to thrive in a fast-moving, scaling startup environment.
