The Company’s clients are organizations that are taking payment risk through emerging payment models such as Bundled Payments, Accountable Care Organizations, and Medicare / Medicaid Advantage plans.

Job Description:

PAA is undergoing rapid growth and a critical part of our solution is the software engineering team. We are immediately seeking a capable UI/UX developer. The candidate must live and breathe building incredible user experiences. They’ll need to work in a blazing fast, ever-evolving environment working with the latest open source technology. They’ll be a high performing member held to the highest standards of an already experienced and seasoned engineering team. Adaptability, curiosity, and persistence to create the best possible product for the customer is a must.

What you'll need for this position:

• Ability to connect the dots between business needs, innovation, and excellent design
• Possess a high degree of empathy for the end users of the products you'll be creating
• Emphatically values collaboration between designers, stakeholders, and engineers
• Ability to rapidly prototype solutions based on user feedback
• Expert level understanding of UI/UX design patterns
• Experience in one or more major front-end Javascript frameworks (React, Angular, Vue, etc.)
• Experience in using one of more major prototyping tools (Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, etc.)

Preferred:

• Expert in commonly used web development tools (Webpack, Babel, Web Workers, etc.)
• Expert in web development testing (Jest, Jasmine, Cypress, etc.)
• Experience with css pre-processing tools (Less, Sass, etc.)
• Familiarity with GraphQL
• Familiarity with A/B testing
• Experience working in an Agile environment

How to stand out:

• Public Github profile with your latest side-projects
• Familiarity with reactive/functional programming patterns
• Real-world experience with the React/Redux stack with GraphQL
