Armed Emergency Room Patrol Officer
Position Overview
VETS Securing America (VSA) is seeking qualified Armed Emergency Room Patrol Officers to provide security services in a healthcare environment. Candidates must be professional, dependable, and capable of maintaining a calm and effective presence in high-stress situations.
Minimum Requirements
- Valid Level III (Commissioned Armed Security Officer) License issued by the State of Texas
- Minimum 2 years of healthcare security experience
- Minimum 2 years of customer service experience
- Law enforcement or military experience preferred
- Ability to remain calm in stressful environments
- Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods
Required Equipment
Applicants must possess and carry:
- Full-size duty-rated firearm chambered in:
- 9mm
- .40 caliber
- .45 caliber
- Duty ammunition (hollow point)
- Level II or higher retention holster
- Minimum of 3 magazines
- Certified less-lethal option (OC Gel, baton, or Axon Taser)
- Duty belt secured to under-belt with belt keepers
- All equipment carried in appropriate retention holsters

- Accurate report writing
- Ability to work effectively with security leadership and local law enforcement
