High-Speed Packaging Operations Technician

What you’ll do day-to-day

• Run, monitor, and fine-tune high-speed production and packaging equipment to meet targets.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance using basic hand and power tools.
• Diagnose mechanical issues quickly and repair to reduce downtime and improve throughput.

Compensation & schedule

• Estimated annual earnings: approximately $45,600–$52,000+ per year, based on a $21.94 hourly rate, full-time hours, and potential overtime.
• Overtime opportunities are available when business needs increase.
• Be ready to work any shift ; your flexibility is key to supporting the operation.
• Pay rate will increase following a successful evaluation-to-hire period.

Schedule Options

Option 1: 2-2-3 rotating schedule (available on days or nights)

• Days: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Pattern: work 2, off 2, work 3; then off 2, work 2, off 3—and repeat.
• Benefits many enjoy: never more than 3 days in a row, long breaks without PTO, every other weekend off.

Option 2: Set nights, Monday–Friday

• Hours: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Schedule: Monday through Friday nights
• Weekends: OFF

What you bring

• At least two (2) years of experience in production or manufacturing.
• Proven mechanical troubleshooting and repair ability.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Consistent work history and reliable attendance.
• Team mindset and ability to work inclusively with others.
• Age 18 or older.
• Comfort working any shift and supporting overtime as needed.

Preferred

• Experience operating and maintaining automated systems.
• Familiarity with computer interfaces and product distribution systems.
• Strong technical aptitude, leadership capability, and problem-solving mindset.
• Background in liquid processing and/or packaging operations.

Physical demands & work environment

• Use basic hand tools (wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, hammers) for maintenance and part replacement.
• Lift/move up to 60 pounds .
• Work indoors and outdoors in seasonal temperatures and humidity.
• Use a computer keyboard to enter and retrieve data.
• Wear required PPE: safety glasses, hearing and respiratory protection, and safety shoes.
• Maintain high personal hygiene and wear sanitary garments such as coveralls, hairnets, and beard covers.
