Location

Hybrid role based in the Austin TX area. Approximately 85% remote with occasional on-site work for key audit tasks and collaboration.

Job Description

• Support financial audits by performing testing walkthroughs and workpaper documentation
• Assist with fieldwork and audit procedures in collaboration with senior leadership
• Prepare audit schedules reconcile accounts and ensure all supporting documentation is accurate
• Communicate with internal staff to resolve discrepancies and ensure timelines are met
• Complete assigned tasks efficiently while maintaining high standards of accuracy
• Contribute to continuous process improvements and maintain organized audit files
• Take on additional preparatory and accounting work immediately prior to the main audit period

Qualifications

• Audit internship or 1 year of audit experience in public accounting or a related environment
• Bachelors degree in Accounting or a closely related field
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote-first environment
• Commitment to accuracy and meeting deadlines
• Must be located within a reasonable commuting distance to Austin TX
