Senior SAP Hybris Developer (TX)

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and Development:
  • Design, develop, and maintain SAP Hybris-based e-commerce solutions with a strong focus on web services and API integrations.
  • Implement and optimize web services (RESTful) to support various business functions and enhance system integrations.
  • Develop custom extensions and integrations to meet business requirements and improve platform functionality.
• System Integration:
  • Integrate SAP Hybris with third-party systems such as payment gateways, CRM systems, ERP systems, and other external web services.
  • Ensure seamless data flow and synchronization between SAP Hybris and integrated systems.
• Performance Optimization:
  • Optimize the performance and scalability of SAP Hybris applications and web services.
  • Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks to ensure high availability and responsiveness of the platform.
• Collaboration and Communication:
  • Collaborate with product owners, architects, and other stakeholders to gather and refine requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure project alignment and success.
• Quality Assurance:
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
  • Develop and execute unit tests, integration tests, and performance tests to ensure the reliability and quality of the solutions.
• Documentation:
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, integration guides, and API documentation.

Qualifications:

• Education:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP Hybris development, with a strong focus on web services and system integration.
  • Proven experience in designing and developing RESTful web services.
  • Extensive experience with SAP Hybris Commerce Suite, including hands-on experience with various modules such as Product Content Management (PCM), Order Management, and Customer Service.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in Java, Spring, and related technologies.
  • Strong understanding of RESTful web services, including API design, development, and integration.
  • Experience with SAP Hybris OCC (Omni Commerce Connect) for web services and data integration.
  • Familiarity with integration protocols such as JMS, and WebSocket.
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git and build tools such as Maven and Jenkins.
  • Knowledge of database systems.
  • Experience with cloud platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.
