Job Summary:
Tostada Regia is looking for a detail-oriented and energetic Expo to join our team. The Expo plays a critical role in ensuring that food orders are accurate, prepared efficiently, and delivered to guests in a timely manner. This position acts as the key liaison between the kitchen and the front-of-house team, maintaining high standards of quality, organization, and communication to create a seamless guest experience.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure food orders are prepared quickly and meet quality standards

• Review incoming tickets and ensure they are addressed immediately

• Check for and fulfill any special customer requests

• Call out dishes from tickets to coordinate the kitchen team

• Ensure all components of orders are completed and ready for simultaneous delivery

• Inspect the quality and presentation of finished dishes, requesting corrections if needed

• Ensure dishes are delivered to customers in a timely manner

• Arrange dishes on trays and garnish them as needed

• Communicate and coordinate with servers to expedite table service

• Maintain a clean and organized expo station and surrounding work area

• Ensure take-out orders are accurately packed and meet customer specifications

• Assist on the kitchen line as needed

• Support the Kitchen Manager and other staff when required

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a kitchen or food service role

• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math operations

• Completion of a certified food handling course and successful exam completion

• Knowledge of and ability to perform all kitchen line roles at Tostada Regia

• Strong organizational and leadership skills

• Effective team player with excellent communication skills

• Commitment to excellent personal hygiene and cleanliness standards
