Sr Software Engineer - Azure

Client: Wealth Management

Pay: $130K - $150K based upon experience for this perm position

Location: Plano, TX

Onsite first 90 days and then 75 days a year WFH

Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related technical field

Experience:

• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience and 3+ years’ experience building cloud-native applications who is a full stack developer (less front end more back end) and has done integration work.
• Deep expertise in back-end development with .NET Core and Node.js
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure services: API Management , AKS, Functions, App Services, Event Hubs, Blob Storage, Key Vault
• Strong knowledge of event-driven and microservices architectures, security best practices, including encryption, token-based auth, and secure data access
• Demonstrated experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, or ARM) and CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with integrating CRM systems, media platforms, content systems, and customer data tools
• Solid understanding of cloud security, identity, and compliance requirements
• Proven ability to design for resilience (retry, circuit breaker, failover, multi-region scaling)

Responsibilities:

• Design and build microservices and serverless applications using Azure AKS, Functions, App Services, Event Hubs, Service Bus
• Contribute to system design with emphasis on scalability, fault tolerance, multi-region deployments, and data residency compliance
• Develop and optimize REST/GraphQL APIs and backend services that integrate with media platforms (Kaltura, Azure Media Services), CDPs (Twilio Segment), and Salesforce Experience Cloud
• Define and manage infrastructure with Terraform/Bicep/ARM templates
• Build event-driven pipelines (Kafka/Event Hubs) for telemetry, personalization, and analytics
• Implement identity management with Azure AD B2C, OAuth2/OpenID Connect, and integrate with Okta/Auth0 where required
• Partner with architects, DevOps engineers, and front-end/full-stack teams to ensure end-to-end solution quality
