Technician, Quality Control
Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop and implement programs to establish and maintain quality standards for existing products and services.
- Assist in developing and implementing a compliant and cost-effective quality system to ensure products and services are reliable, safe, and effective.
- Follow basic operating procedures and perform routine and some non-routine tasks within a group or department.
- Maintain appropriate licenses, training, and certifications as needed.
- Work within established quality guidelines, ensuring compliance with GLP/GCP/cGMP and global Drug and Device Development Processes.
- Utilize measuring tools like calipers, rulers, and vision systems to read drawings and ensure product quality.
Experience Required
- 1-2 years’ experience in reading drawings and using measuring tools like calipers, rulers, and vision systems (preferred).
- Basic skills training in analytical/scientific methods or operational processes.
Skills & Certifications
- Knowledge of computer software, including Excel and Word.
- Conversant with regulations, GLP/GCP/cGMP, and global Drug and Device Development Processes (preferred).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a highly supervised environment with minimal discretion.
- Organized and self-motivated.
Eligibilities & qualifications
- High School diploma required.
- Demonstrates knowledge of basic operating procedures for a specific functional area.
- Accountability for executing specific tasks under the oversight of a supervisor.
- Ability to influence quality, cost, and productivity through task execution.
