Duties
- Oversee Staff Accountants and assist in day-to-day operations and client management.
- Prepare and review complex financial statements in accordance with GAAP and company standards.
- Perform detailed balance sheet and income statement reconciliations to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
- Analyze and interpret cash flow trends to assess liquidity and support financial planning.
- Manage general ledger activity and month-end/year-end close processes.
- Lead budgeting and forecasting efforts, providing strategic insights to support decision-making.
- Review filing of tax documents/reports such as sales tax, 1099s, or other regulatory filings to ensure accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and external regulatory requirements.
- Provide expert financial analysis and recommendations to clients and/or management teams to improve financial performance.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and financial modeling.
- Deep understanding of GAAP, financial reporting standards, and regulatory compliance.
- Strong experience with cash flow analysis, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills; able to prioritize tasks effectively in high-pressure environments.
- Clear and concise communication skills.
- High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage.
- Degree in accounting or related field is a plus.
- 3+ years experience in accounting.
- CPA preferred but not required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
