What You Will Do:
The Regional Sales Manager is tasked with driving internal revenue growth and support for Johnson Controls Security Products. Key responsibilities include designing access control and video surveillance systems, delivering presentations to end users, conducting product demonstrations, and providing education and training for technicians and sales representatives associated with Johnson Controls Security Product Brands. This role requires the effective communication and demonstration of JCI Security Products through live presentations and training sessions.
How You Will Do It
As the Regional Sales Manager for the Northeast United States, you will assume individual responsibility for meeting revenue goals across multiple Johnson Controls Security Brands. Your primary client will be Johnson Controls Building Solutions North America, with a territory covering the Western U.S. Expect approximately 60% travel, including overnight. The role necessitates proficiency in sales presentations, public speaking, networking, as well as customer demonstrations and technical training. You will support customer sales personnel and technicians, generate quotes for Johnson Controls Security Products, update sales activities in CRM/Salesforce, and provide weekly sales forecasts. Strong public speaking, presentation skills, and relationship-building capabilities are essential, along with a comprehension of Integrated System Typology. Project Management or Project Engineering experience and previous territory management skills are advantageous. Effective time management is crucial as you will oversee a multi-state territory on a rotational basis. You will also be responsible for delivering product updates, overviews, and demonstrations to key stakeholders.
What We Look For
Required
Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 7 years of experience in the Electronic Security industry and security products industry
Experience with territory management
Proficiency with Network Infrastructure
Experience with CRM/Salesforce systems
Ability to conduct customer presentations and demonstrations effectively
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Travel 60%+ within CT, DC, DE, MA, MD, ME, NH, NJ, NY, PA, RI, VA, VT, W VA
Salary Range: HIRING SALARY RANGE: $85,000- 114,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, location and alignment with market data.) This role also offers a competitive Sales Incentive Plan that will take into account project, quarterly, and annual margin. This position includes a competitive benefits package.
