Sr. DeVops Engineer

🚨 Hiring: Senior DevOps Engineer 🚨

📍 Location: Houston, TX (5 Days Onsite – Local/nearby candidates preferred)
📅 Duration: 6+ Months (Possible Extension or CTH)
💼 Employment Type: W2

Hourly rate: $65 - $75

We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer with strong experience in large-scale application environments, AWS, and automation . The ideal candidate should have deep expertise in Linux/Unix systems, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud infrastructure , with a focus on resiliency, performance, security, and disaster recovery .

🔑 Must-Have Skills

• Experience working with large-scale applications and enterprise environments

• Strong Unix/Linux expertise

• Advanced automation skills

• Strong experience with AWS cloud services

• Experience implementing resiliency, performance optimization, security, and disaster recovery strategies

• Strong CI/CD experience (Jules, Jenkins)

• Python / Shell scripting / coding experience (big plus)

• SQL

📌 Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Technology, or a related field

• 8+ years of software engineering experience across the full SDLC

• Proficiency with Linux, REST APIs, Spring Boot, Node.js, SQL, and core algorithms

• Experience working with large-scale distributed systems in mission-critical environments

• Familiarity with event-driven architectures and messaging APIs (e.g., JMS)

• Strong understanding of DevOps practices , including CI/CD, automated testing (TDD), resiliency, and application security

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work across technical and non-technical teams

• Proven ability to deliver results in cross-functional team environments
