Location: Houston, Texas
Compensation: $60,000–$72,000

We're searching for a Coffee Shop Manager who knows how to create an atmosphere guests look forward to and a workplace where employees genuinely enjoy coming to work. This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced café environment, values exceptional hospitality, and takes pride in delivering quality with every cup.
From the first espresso of the morning to the final pastry sold in the afternoon, you'll lead a passionate team dedicated to creating memorable guest experiences while maintaining the highest standards of service, cleanliness, and operational excellence.

What You'll Own
Café Operations
Lead the daily operation of the coffee shop, ensuring every shift runs efficiently while delivering an exceptional guest experience from open to close.
Team Leadership
Recruit, train, coach, and inspire baristas and front-of-house team members. Foster a positive culture built on accountability, hospitality, and continuous development.
Guest Experience
Create a welcoming environment where every guest feels valued. Resolve concerns professionally and build lasting customer relationships that encourage repeat business.
Quality Standards
Maintain excellence in coffee preparation, beverage consistency, milk texturing, pastry presentation, cleanliness, and overall product quality.
Inventory & Cost Control
Manage purchasing, vendor relationships, inventory levels, food and beverage costs, waste reduction, and labor scheduling to achieve financial goals.
Collaboration
Partner closely with the pastry and culinary teams to execute seasonal offerings, promotions, and menu pairings that elevate the guest experience.
Compliance & Safety
Ensure compliance with all health, food safety, sanitation, and labor regulations while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
What We're Looking For
- 3–5 years of coffee shop, café, or restaurant management experience
- Passion for specialty coffee and exceptional hospitality
- Proven leadership experience developing high-performing teams
- Strong operational and organizational skills
- Experience managing labor, inventory, and operating costs
- Familiarity with POS systems, scheduling software, and inventory management
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as business demands
- A positive attitude with a genuine desire to lead by example
