 This on-site role is based in Franklin County and offers a unique opportunity for a skilled medical professional to provide high-quality surgical care within a dynamic and supportive medical practice environment. The ideal candidate is an Associate-level doctor with a passion for vascular health and a commitment to excellent patient outcomes.

In this role, you will be an integral part of our medical team, delivering comprehensive vascular surgical services. You will perform consultations, diagnose vascular conditions, and execute surgical procedures with precision. As a Locum physician, you will bring flexibility and expertise to our practice, ensuring continuity of care for our patients and supporting the team's strategic goals in a fast-paced medical setting. Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and history reviews to assess vascular conditions.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic imaging tests, including ultrasounds, CT scans, and angiograms.
  • Develop and implement individualized surgical and non-surgical treatment plans for a variety of vascular conditions.
  • Perform complex vascular surgical procedures with a high degree of precision and adherence to safety standards.
  • Provide pre-operative and post-operative care to ensure optimal patient recovery.
  • Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team of physicians, nurses, and support staff.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient medical records in accordance with professional and regulatory standards.
  • Stay current with the latest advancements in vascular surgery and incorporate best practices into patient care.
  • Participate in patient consultations and clearly communicate diagnoses, treatment options, and risks to patients and their families.
  • Ensure compliance with all hospital and medical practice protocols, policies, and safety regulations.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Board certification or active board eligibility in Vascular Surgery.
  • Valid and unrestricted medical license to practice in the state of Franklin County.
  • Completion of a fellowship in Vascular Surgery.
  • Proven experience in performing a wide range of vascular surgical procedures.
  • Excellent clinical judgment, diagnostic, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a high-volume patient load with efficiency.

Schedule: 24-hour call shifts, 7a-7a, specific dates

EMR: Expanse

Must be board-certified
