Senior Learning Specialist, Chase Travel

As a Senior Training Specialist in Chase Travel’s Learning & Development Team , you facilitate instructor-led training that supports business goals and builds capability across the advisor population. You create an inclusive learning environment, adapt to different learning styles, and monitor progress to ensure strong outcomes. You collaborate closely with leaders and subject matter experts to continuously improve the training experience.
Job responsibilities
- Facilitate instructor-led training sessions using adult learning principles and strong classroom management
- Create an active, inclusive, and engaging learning environment that supports learner success
- Coach learners during onboarding and recurring training, providing timely, actionable developmental feedback
- Reinforce performance expectations and document coaching aligned to defined metrics
- Administer written and online knowledge checks and report learner performance trends
- Partner with leaders to ensure learners receive consistent coaching throughout their training program
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to align training content to business objectives
- Build relationships with internal partners to identify workflow changes and training impacts
- Manage new hire training processes in alignment with firm policies and procedures
- Adjust facilitation approach to meet diverse learning needs while monitoring progress
- Support additional training-related work within the scope of the role as needed
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Bachelor’s degree in learning and development, education, or a related field and 2 years of learning and development experience, or 5 years of equivalent training/facilitation experience
- Proven instructor-led facilitation skills, including effective instruction and classroom management
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including confident public speaking
- Demonstrated ability to apply adult learning methodologies and effective coaching techniques
- Strong organization and prioritization skills with the ability to meet deadlines with minimal supervision
- Demonstrated project management experience managing multiple priorities concurrently
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build credibility and partnership across teams
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and SharePoint
- Working knowledge of travel industry booking tools (Travelport+, Sabre)
- Business acumen and the ability to connect learning outcomes to performance expectations
- Flexibility to travel occasionally, domestically and/or internationally
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Experience in the travel and loyalty marketing industry
