Test Engineer IV

Akkodis is seeking a Test Engineer IV for a Contract with a client in Austin TX. Candidate must support BMS‑focused firmware testing with strong programming and test‑automation skills required for executing battery and electrical validation activities.

Rate Range: $76/hour to $78/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Test Engineer IV job responsibilities include:

• Execute electrical and battery‑cycler tests in coordination with technicians and test engineers while delivering accurate, high‑quality result reports.

• Generate KPIs and maintain clear documentation to support daily lab operations and testing activities.

• Review BMU schematics and layouts to verify design conformance and assess testability.

• Run complex test setups and DOEs using high‑accuracy equipment to support validation and characterization efforts.

• Troubleshoot equipment, sample issues, and test‑station problems to ensure uninterrupted testing.

• Ensure all collected test data meets stringent quality standards and is supported by proper measurement equipment use.

Required Qualifications:

• M.Sc. in electrical engineering or computer science, or a B.Sc. with relevant industrial experience.

• 7-9 Years of experience required.

• having strong programming skills preferably in Python for test automation and debugging complex test scenarios.

• Candidate must demonstrate hands‑on experience executing electrical and battery‑cycler tests using high‑accuracy test equipment and validation procedures.

Pay Details: $76.00 to $78.00 per hour
