Internal Quality Engineer
- Maintain and continuously improve the Quality Management System in compliance with AS9100, ISO 9001, and applicable regulatory requirements (FAA, EASA, etc.).
- Plan, conduct, and report internal audits and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.
- Support root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions using structured problem-solving tools (e.g., 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone).
- Monitor and analyze quality performance metrics; drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Review and approve internal procedures, work instructions, and quality records.
- Support MRB (Material Review Board) activities and ensure proper disposition of nonconforming products.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Program teams to ensure quality requirements are met.
- Assist with customer, regulatory, and third-party audits.
- Support risk management activities, including FMEA and process risk assessments.
- Promote a culture of quality, compliance, and continuous improvement across the organization.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in a quality engineering role, preferably within the aerospace or defense industry.
- Strong working knowledge of AS9100 and aerospace quality requirements.
- Experience conducting internal audits and managing corrective action processes.
- Proficiency in quality tools and methodologies.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
- AS9100 Internal Auditor certification.
- Experience with aerospace manufacturing processes (machining, assembly, special processes).
- Familiarity with configuration management and document control.
- Experience working with customer quality requirements and audits.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills

- Occasional travel may be required to support audits or supplier activities
- Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $82,700 - $124,000 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
- Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
- Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
