Applications Developer
- Design, code, test, and implement software applications based on specifications and user feedback.
- Ensure the development of secure, efficient, and maintainable code.
- Utilize programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, or others, depending on the project requirements.
- Develop and maintain scripts for automation and efficiency improvements.
- Design and implement database structures to support application requirements.
- Optimize database queries for performance and scalability.
- Ensure data integrity and security within the application.
- Conduct thorough unit testing of developed software components.
- Collaborate with quality assurance teams to identify and fix bugs or issues.
- Implement and maintain automated testing processes.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for code, processes, and configurations.
- Provide technical documentation for end-users as needed.
- Work closely with other developers and team members to ensure smooth integration of components.
- Communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders to gather requirements and provide updates on project progress.
- Analyze and troubleshoot issues reported by end-users or discovered during testing.
- Propose effective and scalable solutions to address identified problems.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards.
- Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to enhance personal and team capabilities.
- Actively work to remove impediments and obstacles that may hinder the development team's progress.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement through regular retrospectives and feedback sessions.
- Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement based on metrics and feedback.
- Encourage a culture of learning and experimentation within the team.
- Work with the team to develop strategies for handling unforeseen challenges.

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field.
- 3 - 5 years of relevant experience
- Proven experience in application development with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, C#, Python).
- Familiarity with database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Exposure to ScrumMaster
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Position is at least 80% to 95% at a desk working with computer. Ability to exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Performs other physical activities including use of fingers, sitting, stooping, bending, crouching, talking, hearing, and performing repetitive motions. Visual acuity requirements include color, depth perception and field of vision necessary to prepare and analyze data and figures, operate a computer terminal, and conduct extensive reading.
