The Assistant Manager plays a vital role in delivering an elevated guest experience while supporting boutique operations and team development. This leadership role goes beyond front desk duties to include team training, community engagement, and driving key performance indicators. As Assistant Manager youll support boutique operations and help uphold the high standards and ethos of The NOW brand. Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional service to both guests and team members, setting the standard for hospitality and professionalism.
- Lead by example in promoting enhancements, memberships, and gift card sales by confidently educating guests about our offerings.
- Oversee and ensure accuracy in booking, editing, and canceling appointments, supporting team adherence to best practices.
- Open and close the boutique in alignment with standard operating procedures, ensuring readiness and security.
- Proactively resolve guest concerns, stepping in as a point of escalation when needed.
- Ensure guest areas are consistently maintained to brand standards of cleanliness and ambiance.
- Foster a positive team environment and contribute to a collaborative, engaged, and performance-driven culture.
- Lead the training and onboarding of new team members, ensuring they are set up for success and aligned with brand expectations.
- Efficiently manage staff scheduling, inventory and basic accounting tasks.
- Research and coordinate participation in local community events to increase brand visibility and support business development.
- Partner with the leadership team to uphold operational excellence, drive innovation, and implement process improvements.
- Proven experience in sales and customer service; leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred.
- Prior success in membership or subscription-based sales is required.
- Experience in training, mentoring, or onboarding new employees.
- Strong organizational and time management skills; capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrates a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Skilled in active listening, empathy, and serving as a subject matter expert on all offerings and protocols at The NOW.
- Outgoing, approachable, and able to motivate and inspire team members.
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities with a proactive approach to conflict resolution.
- Experience with community outreach or event coordination is a plus.
- A collaborative team player who leads with integrity, professionalism, and a growth mindset.
