Entry Level Outside Sales Representitive

Combined Group seeks a motivated candidate for our Entry Level Outside Sales Representative opportunity in the Dallas - Fort Worth Metroplex area. Marketing & Sales - Solicit, establish and maintain rapport with prospective and assigned retail agents to secure new and renewal business for Combined's commercial lines unit as part of USLI 50/50 Sales Program. This is a unique opportunity to earn a competitive salary while learning P&C wholesale insurance. This is an outside sales role requiring in-person agent visits in Texas. We are excited to provide training and development for this entry level opportunity. WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Solicit, screen, appoint and train new agents.
• Establish and maintain rapport with agents.
• Follow-up and secure new and renewal business
• Resolve agent problems.
• Assist Combined Group underwriters to place business; follow up on quoted accounts.
• Assist in preparation of marketing materials.
• Attend trade shows and make in-person agent visits.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

• Problem solving, professional conduct.
• Desire to win/place business to achieve goals.
• Ability to establish and build relationships.
• P&C insurance license within 30 days of employment - company will sponsor.
• Bachelor's degree in risk management & Insurance or other business-related field.
• This position requires routine or periodic travel which may require the teammate to drive their own vehicle or a rental vehicle. Acceptable results of a Motor Vehicle Record report at the time of hire and periodically thereafter, and maintenance of minimum acceptable insurance coverages are a requirement of this position.
