Senior Purchasing Specialist(Bilingual)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Purchase food ingredients, supplies, and equipment for the company; Follow proper documentation and reporting requirements; Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams on procure to pay process and new product development process.
  • Negotiate and complete contracts with vendors for optimal cost and delivery terms.
  • Review purchase orders and contracts for compliance with company and departmental policies.
  • Communicate with suppliers to resolve problems that may arise regarding delivery, quality, price, or conditions of sale.
  • Maintain proper inventory levels to avoid stock-outs while minimizing excess inventory.
  • Maintain knowledge of market trends, prices and delivery conditions; Assess supply risk in anticipation of future material availability.
  • Manage all aspects of relationships with authorized vendor partners, including evaluating vendor fit on an ongoing basis.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Over 3 years of Purchasing and Inventory Management experience
  • Bilingual in English and Chinese (spoken and written)
  • Proficient in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
  • Familiarity with Texas procurement regulations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Purchasing and Inventory Management experience in the food industry

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed

  • 25% (Preferred)
