- Job Title: Travel Rehab Registered Nurse (RN) – Locum Tenens
- Location: Corpus Christi, TX 78412
- Healthcare Setting: Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit (15 beds)
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks (August 25, 2025 – November 24, 2025)
- Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), rotating weekends
- Hours per Week: 36
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $1350-$1380
- Employment Type: On-site, contract nursing job
- Dress Code: Royal Blue Scrubs
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas or compact state (required)
- BLS certification (required)
- Minimum 1 year of recent Med Surg nursing experience (required)
- Inpatient rehabilitation nursing experience (preferred)
- Proficiency with EMR systems; Meditech experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and flexibility in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Provide compassionate, high-quality clinical care to patients in a 15-bed inpatient rehab unit
- Manage a 5:1 patient ratio with a collaborative team of RNs and Patient Care Technicians (PCTs)
- Perform nursing procedures including straight catheterization, bladder scans, blood transfusions, IV management, dressing changes, wound care, patient transfers, and suctioning
- Utilize adaptive and assistive equipment such as lifting devices and sliding boards
- Accurately document patient care in Meditech EMR
- Float to Med Surg units as needed to support hospital staffing
- Work closely with interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes
