Accounting Controller, Medical Office - Immediate Hire

Contingent Assets is looking for an Accounting Controller for a Medical Office. This is a critical role in managing all financial operations while ensuring compliance with industry standards. Reporting directly to the CEO, this position oversees a large accounting team and focuses on internal operations, strategic planning, and comprehensive financial management tailored to the unique needs of a medical office environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage financial reporting and ensure accuracy and compliance
• Oversee budget management, forecasting, and expense monitoring
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
• Coordinate payroll processing, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
• Supervise a large accounting team of 10+ members
• Handle month-end close and cash flow management
• Coordinate audits and maintain internal controls
• Monitor financial operations specific to medical office needs, including medical records management
• Ability to automate processes, invoicing, banking and month end close
• Confient in working with senior leadership and team members

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of accounting experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

Preferred Qualifications

• Expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
• Knowledge of GAAP compliance and internal controls
• Experience managing accounts payable/receivable and payroll
• Background in medical office finance
• Strong attention to detail and leadership skills
• Effective communication abilities
• Sage Intact, Microsoft Copilot, MS 365
