Systems Engineer II- MDM

We are looking for a Systems Engineer II- MDM to join our team in Houston, Texas 77019 . The Systems Engineer II-MDM will lead the configuration, deployment, and lifecycle management of over 12,000 mobile devices across the enterprise using Microsoft Intune and JAMF Pro. This role ensures secure, scalable, and user-friendly device experiences for both iOS and Android platforms. The engineer will serve as a Tier 3 support resource and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise mobility solutions. – APPLY NOW!

Pay Rate: $48.08/hr. 

Work Schedule: Mon- Fri 8 AM – 5 PM

Key Responsibilities 

MDM Platform Administration

• Configure and maintain Intune and JAMF Pro policies, profiles, and compliance with rules.
• Administer Apple Business Manager and VPP licensing.
• Serve as Tier 3 escalation for device enrollment and policy issues.

Security & Compliance

• Implement conditional access policies and device encryption standards.
• Coordinate VPN client deployments (PaloAlto GlobalProtect).

Collaboration & Integration

• Partner with business units to design and deploy enterprise mobility solutions.
• Lead mobility platform migrations and enterprise-level security initiatives .

Support & Documentation

• Provide Tier 3 support for mobile and IoT devices.
• Maintain system documentation and knowledge base for team cross-training.
• Work on and resolve tickets related to mobile and endpoint devices.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of enterprise-level experience with Microsoft Intune and JAMF Pro.
• Proven success managing 5,000+ mobile devices across iOS and Android.
• Strong understanding of identity providers (Okta, Entra ID, etc.) and SSO integrations.
• Advanced knowledge of:
• Intune: enrollment, compliance policies, app deployment, conditional access.
• JAMF Pro: macOS/tvOS management, certificate deployment, Apple TV management.
• Enterprise workflows: OOBE, zero-touch deployment, shared device configurations.
• VPN: PaloAlto GlobalProtect or equivalent solutions.
• Microsoft certifications (MS-102, MD-102) are strongly preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Work Conditions

• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical problems independently.
• Must be available for occasional evening or weekend work.
• Occasional travel may be required.
• Ability to work at a desk for extended periods (up to 8 hours).
