We are seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to become a part of our team! You will perform routine administrative and clinical assignments to keep the medical facility running smoothly. We have a busy pain management practice and we are seeking a goal oriented medical assistant.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine clinical tasks to support medical staff
- Communicate with front office and back office to keep patient flow
- Escort patients to exam rooms
- Blood pressures, weight etc
- Take patient's Health history
- Enter all information in EMR with care
- Work with clinicians as assigned
- Handle all administrative duties in a timely manner
- Must travel to satellite location in Greenville TX once a week, more often if coverage is needed.
Qualifications:
- Medical Assistant certificate
- CPR certified
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with EClinical Works is a plus
- Preferably has some bilingual skills: Spanish and English
- AT least one year experience in healthcare field
- Must be able to travel 1 day a week to Greenville(additional compensation)
