Responsibilities
- Operate diagnostic radiologic equipment including fluoroscopy, mobile X-ray, and fixed radiography units.
- Ensure accurate patient positioning, shielding, and safety during procedures.
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare providers to ensure quality diagnostic output.
- Document procedures and maintain patient imaging records in compliance with HIPAA standards.
- Inspect, calibrate, and troubleshoot imaging equipment regularly.
- Adapt to various facility protocols and contribute to team performance during each assignment.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
- ARRT certification required; additional state licensure may be necessary.
- At least 2 years of clinical experience in diagnostic radiography preferred.
- Strong competency in general diagnostic procedures including fluoroscopy and portable imaging.
- Excellent interpersonal, critical thinking, and clinical judgment skills.
