Looking for a busy, high-energy barbershop where you can practice your craft, level up your skills, and boost your career? Welcome to Floyd's 99 Barbershop! Our Austin, TX shop is looking for a full- or part-time Licensed Barber who brings skill, passion, and a drive to do a great job.

We operate differently than traditional booth‑rent shops. Instead of paying rent, covering all expenses, and going without benefits, our professionals are employees . That means no chair fees, booth rent, and no solo tax burden .

We're offering competitive, performance-based pay averages $30,000–$60,000 per year, with uncapped earning potential -high performers can make $100,000+, where the more you work, the more you can earn! You'll also enjoy:

WHAT TO EXPECT AS OUR LICENSED BARBER

You'll be in our shop, providing top-notch services to help clients look and feel their best! As clients come in, you'll provide a thorough consultation and then make it happen. You'll use clippers, provide fades, trim beards, and more to provide an overall great experience. You'll also need to keep your workstation TDLR-compliant to help maintain a professional and appealing environment.

YOUR HOURS

We have full- and part-time shifts available during our shop hours, which are:

• 9:00 am to 8:00 pm, Monday through Friday
• 9:00 am to 7:00 pm, Saturday
• 11:00 am to 6:00 pm, Sunday

We're looking for someone who can close the shop and work at least once per weekend.

REQUIREMENTS

• Current Texas barber license
• Solid hair-cutting skills and techniques
• Reliable, customer service-focused mentality
• A coachable mindset and an openness to learning new things
• Availability to work closing shifts and at least one weekend shift (Saturday or Sunday)
