Information Security Analsty
Anarust Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Remote Information Security Analyst to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and improving our security posture, protecting sensitive data, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of security principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Responsibilities:
Monitor security systems and logs for suspicious activity, investigating and responding to security incidents.
Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and remediate security weaknesses.
Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and standards.
Provide security awareness training to employees.
Stay up-to-date on the latest security threats and vulnerabilities.
Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure security is integrated into all systems and processes.
Participate in security audits and compliance efforts.
Contribute to the development and maintenance of incident response plans.
Assist in the selection and implementation of security tools and technologies.
Document security incidents, investigations, and resolutions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in information security.
Strong understanding of security principles, frameworks, and best practices (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
Experience with security tools and technologies such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, vulnerability scanners, and penetration testing tools.
Knowledge of network security, operating system security, and application security.
Familiarity with cloud security concepts and technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a remote environment.
Must be a resident of the United States or a permit resident.
