Java Production Support

Akkodis is seeking a Java Production Support for a Contract job with a client in Plano, TX /Chandler, AZ(Hybrid) . The ideal candidate's responsibilities include incident resolution under tight SLAs, root cause analysis, and collaborating across teams to ensure production stability and efficiency.

Rate Range: $60/hour to $63/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Java Production Support job responsibilities include:

• Providing front-line technical support and resolving production incidents under strict SLAs

• Performing root cause analysis and fixing issues using Java, SQL, and UNIX shell scripting

• Monitoring applications, ensuring operational readiness, and participating in production governance

• Supporting integrated releases, server upgrades, and coordinating with infrastructure and development teams

• Participating in out-of-hours L2 support rotation and continuously driving efficiency and automation initiatives.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field

• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT with a focus on Java/JEE application support

• Proficiency in UNIX shell scripting and strong SQL skills for debugging and issue resolution

• Prior experience in production support roles with hands-on knowledge of incidents, change, and problem management practices.

Pay Details: $60.00 to $63.00 per hour
