Payroll Operations Specialist (ARLINGTON)

Fisher Investments is looking for a Payroll Analyst to join a growing team supporting payroll operations in the US and Canada. As a Payroll analyst you will support the most detailed payroll processes in a deadline driven environment.
The Opportunity:
As a Payroll Analyst you'll support the end to end US payroll processes, as well as assist with the processing of monthly Canada payroll under the direction of the Payroll manager. Utilize reports to complete audits and perform reconciliations as validation of data accuracy. You will also serve as a key resource for multi-state payroll tax compliance. Work closely with our Finance and Human Capital business partners to coordinate resources as needed. You will identify enhancement opportunities and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and ensure quality.
The Day-to-Day:
Support the administration and compliance of the semi-monthly payroll for multi-state operations and monthly Canadian Payroll
Maintain employee records, including voluntary and involuntary deductions
Audit, analyze and identify inconsistencies between HR and Payroll systems
Prepare payroll and ad hoc reports
Identify opportunities and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and ensure quality
Establish and maintain written procedures documenting compliance and processes
Provide excellent customer service
Your Qualifications:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business preferred or equivalent experience
4+ years of payroll experience
Extensive knowledge of payroll tax requirements across multiple states, including reciprocity rules and local tax jurisdictions
UKG Payroll software and Workday experience
Proficiency in MS Excel
