Quality Control Clerk

MINIMUM 2 YEARS OF RECENT QC EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Connect Staffing is looking for an experienced QC Inspector for a drilling equipment manufacturer company in North Houston, TX

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 5:00 am – 5:300pm, with overtime as required

Requirements for QC Clerk:

• Minimum of 2 years of recent QC experience in a manufacturing or related environment
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of quality control concepts, practices, and procedures
• Prior experience in MRB meetings and quality documentation
• Ability to accurately document data and perform basic arithmetic (add, subtract, multiply, divide)
• Familiarity with reviewing and approving product and material certifications
• Experience with datasheet creation, gauge calibration, and purchase requisitions
• Ability to use computer systems and databases efficiently
• Pass a drug screen, background check, and Physical.
• Prior experience in roles such as a Quality Assurance Inspector, Quality Technician, Quality Control Technician, Quality Assurance Technician, or QA/QC Analysis a big plus!

Responsibilities of the QC Clerk:

• Collect, review, and input data into computer systems
• Audit output data and identify production-related errors
• Review and approve product and material certifications
• Maintain procedural lists, control records, and coding schemes
• Create datasheets and manage gauge calibration schedules
• Request quotes and create purchase requisitions for QC items
• Take minutes for MRB meetings and perform database entries
• Write procedures and work instructions as needed
