Senior Litigation Paralegal

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a driven Senior Litigation Paralegal who will play a vital role in supporting our team.
The Position:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Litigation Paralegal to join our dynamic team, specializing in commercial trucking and general negligence within the Personal Injury sector. This advanced role requires a seasoned professional , who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to mentor junior team members. You'll play a crucial role in supporting a diverse group of attorneys, and your expertise will be instrumental in navigating complex legal matters. This is an exciting opportunity to collaborate with an exceptional team dedicated to achieving outstanding results for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the drafting of petitions, motions, and legal documents, ensuring clarity and compliance with legal standards.
- Oversee the discovery process, including drafting and responding to discovery requests, managing timelines, and ensuring thorough case preparation.
- Communicate effectively with clients, addressing their concerns and keeping them informed throughout the litigation process.
- Organize and maintain comprehensive electronic case files, ensuring all documentation is up to date and easily accessible.
- Act as a mentor to junior paralegals and support staff, providing guidance and training in litigation best practices.
- A positive and flexible mindset, with the ability to collaborate effectively with attorneys who have diverse perspectives and working styles.
- Understanding that the nature of the role requires above and beyond availability on all trial cases.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 10+ years of litigation experience , with a strong focus on commercial trucking and general negligence cases.
- Preferred experience working in Personal Injury.
- Expert knowledge with filing federal court cases.
- Proven experience working on cases in the 6-7 figure value.
- Proven track record in all aspects of litigation, from initial filing through trial and resolution, with demonstrated skills in drafting petitions and motions.
- Exceptional organizational skills with a keen attention to detail and the ability to manage a multiple cases simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an aptitude for fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office and case management software is essential.
- An adaptable, resilient attitude, capable of thriving alongside attorneys with strong personalities and varied approaches.
