This person will also play a critical role in workforce training, process validation, and customer audit support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze manufacturing processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, increase throughput, optimize resource utilization, reduce waste, and lower operational costs using Lean Manufacturing principles and Industrial Engineering methodologies.
  • Conduct time and motion studies to establish accurate labor standards, support capacity and manpower planning, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across production lines.
  • Provide training, coaching, and ongoing support to production operators, supervisors, and cross-functional teams on new or revised processes, SOPs, and best practices to ensure successful implementation and adherence.
  • Support automation projects by evaluating process improvement opportunities, assisting with equipment integration, and collaborating with engineering teams to implement solutions that improve productivity, quality, and operational effectiveness.

  • Support customer, regulatory, and internal audits by preparing Industrial Engineering documentation, responding to process-related inquiries, and driving corrective actions for audit findings as required.
  • Monitor and report key process performance metrics, recommending and implementing improvements to achieve operational goals.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • SOP Management: Ensure 100% of SOPs are updated, approved, and released prior to production-related process changes.
  • Process Improvement: Achieve a 3-5% reduction in cycle time and/or productivity improvement each quarter.
  • Training Effectiveness: Ensure 100% of affected production personnel are trained on new or revised SOPs within two weeks of release.
  • Standard Time Accuracy: Maintain labor standard accuracy within ±5% during audits and validation reviews.
  • Automation Support: Successfully contribute to a minimum of two automation or process enhancement projects annually.
  • Audit Performance: Achieve zero major audit findings related to Industrial Engineering processes and documentation.
