Bilingual Public Health Nurse
Our client City of Houston is in need of a Bilingual Registered Nurse. Please see job details below. This is a Temporary position.
Pay Rate: $50.01
Location: Houston, TX 77093
Schedule: Monday – Friday 8am to 5pm
Job Duties:
- Provides advanced public health nursing services in accordance with standing delegation orders.
- Serves as backup to the Chief Nurse, providing clinical oversight, guidance, and decision-making support.
- Must have a current RN License, professional demeanor proficient with working and documenting in an electronic medical records system.
Requirements:
- Must be Bilingual English/Spanish.
- Must have a valid Texas Driver's License and comply with AP 2-2 policy.
- Requires graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- A Bachelor of Science degree in nursing is preferred.
- Must be licensed to practice as a registered nurse in the State of Texas .
- EXPERIENCE: Four years of experience as a practicing registered nurse are required .
- A Master of Science degree in Nursing and two years of experience in general nursing, including one year of supervisory experience, may be substituted for the experience requirement.
