Cylinder Technician

Job Summary Hydraulic technician needed to install, maintain, and repair hydraulic systems and components. Responsibilities include reading blueprints and diagrams to troubleshoot and diagnose problems, performing preventative maintenance to avoid failures, welding, metal fabrication and electrical assembly, providing drawing review and suggestions to investigate and repair hydraulic equipment, disassembling/reassembling hydraulic components and cylinders, and operating machines such as drill presses, lathes, and grinders to modify parts. Opportunity for growth into a supervisor or management role at an existing Staten Island location; company supports multiple locations nationwide with autonomous site operations. Must be a self-starter focused on integrity, fairness, and customer orientation, strong emphasis on hands-on fabrication, repair, and field readiness.
