How can we optimize our planning processes to reach the best business results against the lowest costs or largest margins? How can we make sure the impact of operational issues does not affect the supply and demand volumes too much? What will the costs be if we decide to produce a ton PO less or a ton PO more? Questions we ask ourselves daily, and that’s where you come in.
As an (Senior) Optimization and Planning Analyst you will be responsible for leading the US operations planning process for several products in our Intermediates and Derivatives business and for joint global planning with colleagues in the US and Asia. You manage business operations by developing and maintaining operating plans which include demand forecasting, production and supply planning and optimization, distribution planning and inventory targeting. Regarding the business optimization you provide analytical support.

And finally, you collaborate with co-producers in global swaps, exchange, toll and purchasing agreements.
As you monitor performance versus plan and recommend improvements your focus will be both on the short-term planning and the 5-year planning horizon. You Identify new strategic and tactical integration opportunities from an overall business perspective between manufacturing sites and with our partners.
