Field Service Technician

Overview

We are seeking an experienced IT Field Services Technician to provide onsite support across multiple locations. This role serves as a Tier 3 escalation resource, supporting end users, desktops, servers, and network infrastructure while ensuring a high level of customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite IT support for practice and corporate locations
• Install, deploy, and troubleshoot PCs, laptops, Macs, printers, and network-connected devices
• Serve as a Tier 3 escalation point for complex technical issues
• Troubleshoot Windows, macOS, networking, DNS, TCP/IP, file shares, and connectivity issues
• Support Windows Server environments, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and virtual machines
• Conduct onsite IT assessments and recommend improvements
• Create and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base articles
• Participate in occasional after-hours and weekend support

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT Support, Field Services, or Infrastructure experience
• Strong troubleshooting skills with Windows 11, Windows Server, Active Directory, and networking fundamentals
• Experience supporting users across multiple locations
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel up to 80%

Preferred

• CompTIA A+, Network+, or ITIL certifications
• Experience with VMware or Hyper-V
• Experience supporting healthcare, dental, or multi-site environments

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Carrollton, TX.

The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $34.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Carrollton,TX.
