Sr. Staff Accountant, Financial Reporting

A diversified holding company of a private investment group is seeking a Senior Accountant, Financial Reporting to join its high-performing Accounting team. This organization manages a broad portfolio of operating businesses and investment vehicles across multiple industries and geographies. Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and post monthly journal entries and accruals with proper supporting documentation.
• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and detailed variance analysis across multiple entities.
• Manage intercompany activity and ensure accuracy of consolidated financial results.
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP, UK GAAP, and IFRS, supporting high-quality internal and external financial reporting.
• Partner with teams across finance, operations, and systems to deliver reporting and forecasting outputs.
• Drive process improvements, including automation initiatives and ERP enhancements.
• Research and resolve complex technical accounting issues, providing clear guidance to internal stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of accounting experience, ideally with a blend of public accounting and corporate accounting within a complex or multi-entity environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA is preferred, but not required.
• Strong command of US GAAP; exposure to IFRS or UK GAAP is a plus.
• ERP system experience and strong Excel capabilities.
• Demonstrated experience in process redesign, financial systems optimization, or accounting automation.
• Excellent communication skills, analytical mindset, and attention to detail.
