Field Application Engineer – San Antonio, TX

Full Visibility is seeking a Field Application Engineer to work in San Antonio, TX. Candidate must possess an active Top Secret/SCI clearance.

The Field Application Engineer will provide customer support through the performance of on-site installation, as well as overseeing any necessary diagnoses, troubleshooting, service, and repair of systems. The candidate will possess an understanding of the Cyber Mission Force (CMF) organizational construct, tools/capabilities utilized in cyberspace operations, and experience in system/network administration, incident response, and forensic analysis. The ideal candidate will participate in the establishment measurement, and achievement of customer satisfaction metrics, and perform project management function from client engagements to include identification, scheduling, tracking, and reporting. The successful candidate will develop and write documentation as required, train and familiarize operators on equipment and systems, support an environment conducive to successful team interaction and customer satisfaction, and possess strong, results- oriented work ethic and customer service orientation.

The Field Application Engineer will provide subject matter proficiency for work described in the task and will be responsible for providing analytical skills to support process improvement, specialized studies, and definition of requirements.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance and willing to obtain a polygraph

• At least ten (10+) years of IT systems administrative experience with both Microsoft and Linux platforms. With two years proficient understanding of maintenance (patching, STIG, and upgrade processes) on AWS cloud infrastructure.

• At least five (5+) years of experience working in Cyber Mission Force community

• Demonstrated experience and/or training in system administration and development best practices in AWS

• Ability to conduct database queries

• Ability to travel greater than 25%

• Security+ certification

Preferred:

• Programming and query language experience

• Strong project management skills with experience in DevOps and/or SAFe Agile

• Atlassian Collaboration tools

• AWS SysOps Administrator certification

• Red Hat certification

• Government or military cyber experience
