Product Development Coordinator

Position Summary:

The Product Development Coordinator supports the development, testing, documentation, and ongoing technical maintenance of mattress products. This role works closely with Product Development, Engineering, and Manufacturing teams to ensure new products are properly developed, tested, launched, and supported across Corsicana’s facilities and showroom.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development of new mattress products, including tracking sample builds, revisions, and maintaining accurate product records.
• Support technical maintenance activities within OHM, including new product setup, BOM creation, and engineering change management.
• Assist with product compliance and technical testing requirements, including flammability and regulatory testing (e.g., CFR 1633).
• Provide technical support to manufacturing plants by responding to product-related issues, proposing corrective actions, and tracking resolution and follow-up.
• Assist in managing and maintaining the Corsicana showroom, including product setup, updates, and coordination related to new product introductions.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Experience or education in product development, engineering, or manufacturing preferably within mattress, bedding, or upholstered products.
• Familiarity with BOMs, engineering change processes, and product documentation systems.
• Working knowledge of mattress construction, materials, and regulatory requirements is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to track multiple projects and follow through on corrective actions.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, production, and sales teams.

Required Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1-2 years’ experience as a Coordinator.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Proficiency in English.
• Bilingual preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Customer-oriented and cool-tempered.
• Detailed Oriented.

Additional Eligibility Qualifications: Must be able to work in USA.
