We are currently hiring an Electronic Soldering Trainer to join our team in Richardson, TX. The Electronic Soldering Trainer tasks involve instructing individuals on proper soldering techniques and troubleshooting electronic components and circuits. The trainer will be responsible for developing and delivering training programs, assessing trainee performance, and ensuring adherence to quality standards.

Position Responsibilities:

• Instruction of corporate documentation and workmanship skills for employees (new and existing).
• Maintain a working knowledge of hand tools, electronic components (Printed Circuit Board) as well as standard measuring tools.
• Develop and maintain lesson plan materials for pre-hire testing and existing employee needs.
• Responsible for keeping the training department equipment and materials within shelf life and calibration.
• Assist with one on one training sessions if requested.
• Perform other duties as assigned to drive the vision, fulfill the mission, and abide by the values of this organization.

Skills & Abilities:

• Highly effective communication (oral, written and presentation) skills, strong interpersonal skills, and organizational abilities.
• Proficient Microsoft Office.
• Ability to take initiative, to meet deadlines, and to work both independently and in a team environment.
• Strong team player with a commitment to company values.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Certified IPC J-STD-001 (CIT), Requirements for Soldering Electrical and Electronic Assemblies required.
• Certification IPC-A-610, preferred
• 5 years’ experience in electronics/manufacturing environment with a strong knowledge of mechanical assembly and soldering of PCBs and electronic components.
• Background in training, teaching and/or mentoring.
• Basic knowledge of technical drawings with ability to read and understand markings and symbols.
• Bilingual English and Vietnamese.
• Ability to travel to different work sites.
