Residential Maintenance Superintendent
In this role, the successful candidate will oversee and coordinate residential maintenance crews, ensuring that properties are well-kept and maintained to company standards. They will make sure crews have the proper tools, equipment, and materials to perform their work safely and efficiently. The candidate will model high-quality workmanship, provide ongoing training and support to the team, and maintain excellent communication with crews, managers, and clients. A strong understanding of seasonal landscape best practices—such as proper pruning times, plant care cycles, and seasonal maintenance needs—is essential. The ability to make quick decisions in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment is also critical.
Position Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate residential maintenance crews, including laborers, and equipment.
- Manage scheduling of crews, work orders, and other administrative tasks to support efficient operations.
- Ensure all maintenance work meets company quality standards and client expectations.
- Conduct regular property inspections to assess work, document findings, and create action plans to address any issues.
- Lead weekly meetings and crew huddles to foster teamwork, accountability, and a result-driven environment.
- Enforce all safety policies and procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Track inventory and ensure crews have the necessary materials and equipment.
- Perform other duties as required to support the maintenance team and overall property upkeep.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of field related experience with prior leadership experience preferred.
- Strong communication in English and Spanish, including the ability to speak, read, and write in Spanish.
- Possess a strong understanding of plants, trees, turf, and general landscape maintenance practices.
- Valid state driver’s license with proficiency in operating and maneuvering landscape equipment

Working Conditions:
Include external environment dealing with all weather and terrain exposure. Safety equipment includes, but is not limited to hard hats, gloves, earplugs, safety vest and safety glasses.
